Wednesday 18th April 2018 – Swingin’ Standards

A Night Of Swingin’ Standards is the theme for April’s Jazz at the George IV, and will feature a band of fine Midlands’ jazz musicians.  Nick Dewhurst (Trumpet), Elliot Drew (Alto Sax), Allan Young (Guitar), Tom Hill (Double Bass) and Ric Yarborough (Drums).

Sunday 29th April – Blast Off at the Feathers

Always guarenteed to be an evening of great live music played by some of Lichfield’s finest community jazz musicians.  Blast Off will entertain you with a selection of original tunes and jazz standards, all of which are funky groovy and family friendly!

Wednesday 19th July – Lichfield Jazz Christmas Special

We’ve got the date early in the diary this year for the ever-increasingly famous Lichfield Jazz Christmas Special.  Featuring the one and only Lichfield Jazz Big Band (made up of some of the region’s finest Jazz Musicians), you can expect a night full of Christmas tunes like you’ve never heard them before, plus some songs from great local singers, and some great jazz tunes as well…not every tune has to be a jazzy carol!!

The Cathedral Hotel, 8pm start, info on tickets will be available nearer the time.
